Working with a network of veterinary practices, Buddies provides pet insurance products to both cat and dog owners.
The current product range has evolved over the last seven years and is the result of extensive consultation with practice staff. Buddies offers three distinct types of pet insurance including:
- a reinstatement product
- a maximum benefit product
- an annual product
The diverse product range is designed to widen the appeal of pet insurance to owners. By taking the time to explain the different options available to them, Buddies can maximise a practice’s insured customer base, as well as the rate at which these customers renew their policy each year.
Veterinary practices participating in the Buddies scheme are required to sign a simple Introducer Appointed Representative agreement which, under the rules of the Financial Services Authority, allows them to pass on client information to Buddies.
